A system of linear equations is proposed, making it possible to determine the focal powers of the lenses of a thin apochromatic objective, operating in an arbitrary spectral region, without having to resort to calculations of the P and ν values. A rapid plotting of the secondary spectrum graph for an object point at infinity is possible by means of the suggested system of equations.
