Appropriate intrinsic variables are defined for the three-body problem in order to determine the principal radii of curvature for a surface at a point significant to the three-body problem in an equilateral configuration. The curvature is shown to not depend on the masses, while the total curvature is demonstrated to be proportional to a specific symmetrical function. The results are compared to a study by Siegel (1941) to derive the symmetric function.
