A generalized equation was obtained for calculating line profiles of
inhomogeneous solar formation, assuming chaotic macroscopic motions of
inhomogeneous emission structures and their random distribution within
the solar formation. Line profiles of homogeneous formations follow as a
particular case of this equation.
