This is a review of selected work on the one- and multi-dimensional random
Burgers equation (burgulence) with emphasis on questions generally asked for
incompressible Navier--Stokes turbulence, such as the law of decay of the
energy and the pdf of velocity gradients. Most of the material is devoted to
decaying (unforced) burgulence. For more details see the Table of Contents.
