Quasar spectra provide information about the physical conditions and processes related to accretion onto supermassive black holes. In particular, intrinsic absorption from ionized winds is seen in at least 15% of luminous quasars --- the broad absorption line (BAL) quasars. The Sloan Digital Sky Survey provides the first sample of BAL quasars large enough for serious statistical study. In this poster we present statistical results on BAL quasar properties using the SDSS Data Release Three BAL quasar sample.
