We propose Spitzer observations of a selected set of pulsar wind nebulae. Using relatively modest MIPS exposures, we will probe the spectral region in which critical information resides regarding spectral breaks that must occur between the radio and X-ray bands. The frequency at which such breaks occur, as well as the magnitude of the change in spectral index, provides information on the spectrum injected by the pulsar, subsequent particle acceleration, and the evolution of the PWNe. By considering PWNe in different phases of evolution - from pure ``Crab-like'' nebulae to those situated within the confines of supernova remnant (SNR) shells - we will place constraints on the underlying cause of the spectral features in these nebulae. We will also obtain important information regarding emission from dust that may reside in ejecta filamants and material swept up by the SNR blast wave.
