This paper explicates processes by which black holes in star clusters feed mainly on stars tightly bound to them. A further probe into the repopulation of these stars which causes clusters to expand, reversing core-collapse without the need for dynamically active barriers is also a major focal point in this cross study. References are however made to multifarious contemporary findings.
