Bianchi type-VI(0) cosmological models containing a perfect fluid distribution and magnetic field taken in the axial direction are discussed. In order to get exact solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell equations, the condition that the expansion scalar has a constant ratio to the anisotropy in the direction of a unit space-like vector is imposed. Various physical features of the models are considered.
