Bernard Mills, in conversation with Ragbir Bhathal, recalls how he
became an astronomer by accident after the second world war, devised the
Mills Cross radio telescope as a way to get a good instrument on the
cheap, and what happened when he questioned the methods of Cambridge
radio astronomers at the time of Martin Ryle's 2C catalogue.
