Scientific paper

This program covers the cooldown to -88C, followed by UV monitors, focus checks, and the Lyman Alpha check during the first 6 days after WFPC2 cooldown. It will be activated if STIS is unable to perform the end of BEA check. If it's scheduled, then it will completely replace visits 12-30 of proposal 8950 and also visit 11 of 8951. A number of white dwarfs have been selected. All targets will be placed ON HOLD, and a decision will be made regarding which star to use immediately after the SM3B shuttle launch.
