Results of UBV photoelectric observations of Pleione (BU Tau) in 1986-1991 are presented, and the variability of brightness and colors over 20 years is examined. According to all available spectral and photometric data, the shell episode, which began in 1971, is nearing its end; however, the further behavior of the star is unpredictable in detail.
