A STUDY has been described of very short duration (less than 50 msec) pulses observed in the decametre-wave radiation from Jupiter1. For the period of the observations (November 21, 1965-March 17, 1966) it seemed that this type of radiation was associated with the subsidiary B and C ``sources''2 on Jupiter rather than with the main source A. It is the purpose of this communication to point out a similar tendency in certain polarization observations as well as in the lower frequency observations of Jupiter.
