Families of metrics are found in synchronous coordinates generalizing Tolman's spherically symmetric solutions, both for noncoherent dust and for special cases of perfect fluid with nonzero pressure. New metrics depend on an additional arbitrary function of R, theta, and they lead specifically to solutions of the Schwarzschild and Friedmann types (but differing from them in general, especially in their Petrov types and isometries).
