The authors have designed an arm-type auto-multifiber coupler which is named MAFC (Multi-AFC). It can be compatible to work at the prime or Cassegrain focal plane at the BAO 2.16 m telescope. The AFC bundle, 3×3 mm2 in size, is able to find an object with very rough object position. The output ends of the 32 image bundles are together sent to an integration cooled CCD which is able to decide the offset command to send the arms to a proper position for aligning the object with the object fiber.
