AustroMars was the simulation of a crewed expedition on the surface of
planet Mars, which took place in April 2006 at the Mars Desert Research
Station in Utah. A crew of six carefully selected individuals performed
20 experiments in the fields of robotics, analogue planetary and life
sciences as well as human exploration.
