The cores of clusters of galaxies are very complex, dynamic environments in which the black hole in the central galaxy plays a critical role. We propose to search for atomic Hydrogen in absorption in four of clusters that appear to show evidence for gas cooling and re-heating through the action of AGN activity, potentially fueled by the cooled gas. The four targets are the systems most likely to be detected in HI by virtue of their intrinsic flux and compact nature. The detection of atomic gas and the view it gives of gas dynamics so close to the central black hole make this technique a particularly powerful one.
