The omnidirectional intensity of atmospheric γ-rays at balloon
altitudes has been measured at three energy thresholds. A value of 3.3.
10-1 cm-2 sec-1 has been found for
energies greater than 20 MeV. A flattening of the integral spectrum has
been observed at lower energies.
