The authors consider the model problem of atmosphere electricity generation by the combined action of the planetary generator due to nonsolid rotation of the plasmasphere and the current due to low-latitude thunderstorms. The exact solution for this model explains satisfactorily many experimental findings connected with the total electric charge of the planet, the vertical current density, and electric fields in a good weather zone.
