Most cosmological solutions to a minimal tensor-scalar theory of gravity are only defined on a finite time interval. Moreover, to each exceptional solution whose asymptotic limit is pure tensor gravity correspond an infinite number of solutions with a sizeable scalar component. Consequently, this tensor-scalar theory does not generically contain an attractor mechanism towards General Relativity.
