The paper examines the motion of a dynamically symmetric satellite (a rigid body) with respect to the center of mass under the effect of the gravity moments of a central Newtonian force field. The satellite moves in circular orbit. A solution is obtained to the problem of the existence and analytical representation of motions that asymptotically tend to translational motion in the absolute coordinate system, in which the satellite symmetry axis is perpendicular to the orbit plane.
