Cosmic Rays: Modulation
Scientific paper
The behavior of the intensity of galactic cosmic rays (GCR) along the boundary of the interplanetary magnetic field sectors in 1974 is analyzed. The results obtained here are attributed to the existence of a north-south asymmetry in the modulation region. The conservation of this asymmetry through 1986 may be the cause of the annual course of the GCR intensity identified in this paper.
