From the analysis of the rotation rate of the middle point between the
main spots of a given number (49) of sunspot groups taken from the
Greenwich Photoheliographic Results for the years 1964-1976 that cover
the solar cycle no. 20, it is proved that the magnetic flux loops
emerging from bipolar sunspot groups are asymmetric.
