We present results obtained from campaigns of observations of asteroids performed in France at the Haute-Provence observatory (OHP, St Michel), the Pic-du-Midi Observatory (PdM-OMP, Toulouse) and the Paris-Meudon Observatory (OPM), and from revisited methods used to modelise occultation events. Since 1998, in particular, we make astrometric observations of asteroids involved in stellar occultations with the 1.20m telescope of OHP (CCD 1024x1024) in order to get improved early predictions as well as last minute predictions of these events. The photometric observation itself is performed from the three sites with video CCD cameras. We have recently observed two stellar occultations by asteroids. On 1998 March 21, HIP 28954 was occulted by 39 Laetitia. We observed this event with a 26cm refractor from the Haute-Provence Observatory. On 1999 July 2, 41 Daphne occulted TYC 0380 00670 and we observed this event with the 1m telescope from the Meudon observatory. Thanks to other successful observations (16 other observations for 39 Laetitia and 14 for 41 Daphne, collected by the European Asteroidal Occultation Network) we can deduce the size and shape of the observed profiles and propose estimates of the axis ratio and orientation for triaxial models.
