The existence of the jet stream is considered theoretically in the light of observational selection effects, and the concentrations of perihelia and nodes in the proper longitudes are discussed. The concentration of the very faint asteroids is described in terms of Pi1 and Theta1 to determine whether the observational conditions were optimal at the time of discovery. Flora A asteroids also exhibit oppositions of perihelia during autumn months and very low inclinations, and the latter is considered to explain the concentration of nodes in the proper longitudes in the Flora A jet stream. The concentration of proper longitudes of perihelia is theorized to be the result of observational selection effects based on the limited time of favorable observation.
