A statistical search for correlations between the appearance of ancient comets and meteor showers (Kresakova, 1986) is supplemented by the analysis of individual pairs of events. It is shown that there probably exist about three cases of so far unrecognized genetic associations between some of the pairs as identified in the Catalogs of Imoto and Hasegawa (1958) and Hasegawa (1980).
