ASPERA is a network of currently 17 national funding agencies in Europe responsible for funding Astroparticle physics research. Within this new and interdisciplinary field of science the next generation of experiments is currently discussed. The status of the European Astroparticle Physics roadmap and the strategic planning for the future is presented and discussed.
