Investigations of the artificial modification of the ionosphere in active experiments and under anthropogenic effects related to launches of heavy launchers and the operation of high-power radio facilities are presented. Attention is given to data from dozens of rocket studies and several satellite experiments which studied artificial modification processes involving the injection of plasma-forming and plasma-eliminating substances and plasma as well as the effects of high-power short-wave transmissions.
