The observational properties of optical afterglows of GRBs resemble to some extent those of supernovae. This means that there may be unrecognized afterglows especially among poorly investigated SNe. We present a study based on cross-correlations of GRB 4B and SNe catalogues and focused on search for such unrecognized afterglows. We present a list of possible candidates and show that the main limiting factors so far in this type of study are the poorly known parameters (light curves etc.) of particular SNe. .
