The catalog of LMC supernova remnants (SNRs) observed by Einstein in the
0.15 - 4.5 keV X-ray band is analyzed. It is shown that the X-ray
surface brightness as a function of linear radius and the cumulative
number-radius relation can be explained assuming that the SNRs in the
LMC are in the adiabatic phase.
