The paper proposes a hybrid model, a gas disk plus a slowly accelerating
stellar wind, for the gas outflow from the Be star in transient hard
X-ray binaries. The velocity structure in the outflow is presented, the
variation of the X-luminosity is calculated, and many observed features
of AO535+26 are explained.
