An anomalon search using 3000 fragments produced by interaction in emulsion of Fe nuclei of 1.9 A GeV is described. Fragment paths behavior is compatible with normal mean free path values of their components. The existence of a sample of fragments, with common features, responsible for an anomalon effect was investigated. There is a weak indication of an effect among the fragments produced in association with other fragments, but data on the normal situation of stable nuclei in emulsion are needed to enable conclusions to be drawn.
