We consider the formation of lines 255.5 keV and 511 keV due to
annihilation of fast positrons from the pulsar vacuum gap with slow
electrons of the neutron star surface. The weak line 255.5 keV can be
detected by observing the opposite (to the positron stream) radiation in
the laboratory experiment.
