We perform numerical simulations of the focused transport of solar energetic particles along an Archimedean spiral in the inner heliosphere. We assume two types of perturbed regions beyond 1 AU: a nearby reflecting boundary and a back-scatter region, where particles are scattered inward from beyond 1 AU by magnetic field irregularities. We investigate the anisotropy signatures that characterize these two transport scenarios and discuss the observational measurements that can evidence their presence.
