The distribution of arrival directions of primary cosmic rays in the present energy range is investigated using data on 100 extensive air showers recorded in both hemispheres. The distribution is plotted in both the celestial and galactic coordinate systems, and areas of intensity maxima are delineated. The results show a clear anisotropy with the intensity maximum in the direction of the Virgo cluster, indicating that these cosmic rays originate from outside the galaxy, possibly from the local supergalaxy.
