The combined precession of the core and mantle under the effect of tidal and adhesion forces is investigated, and the angle between their rotation axes is determined, i.e., a value of about 10 to the -6th rad is obtained. Taking this angle into account, the velocity field in the outer core is determined, and it is shown that the main flow reversal in the liquid core occurs in the boundary layers. The results are of interest in connection with geomagnetism studies.
