One of the main processes occurring at the entry of natural celestial bodies into the atmosphere is their splitting. Here, some models of meteoroids destruction are discussed. Analytical solutions of meteor physics equations for three splitting models are developed. The motion of the fragment clouds is taken into account by use of variable cross-sectional area in motion and mass loss equations. Then, one of these solutions is applied to the inverse problem: the determination of meteoric properties from the observable sections of meteor trajectory.
