Particle-Theory And Field-Theory Models Of The Early Universe
Scientific paper
We investigate density fluctuations and gravitational waves in extended inflation models. In particular, we consider the slow starting inflation model where the scale factor increases slowly at the beginning and approaches the exponential form as t-->∞ and try to obtain analytic solutions. We find three models where all gauge-invariant variables for scalar perturbations and gravitational waves are given in analytical forms. These models may be used as a testing ground to understand predictions of the inflation models.
