Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) is being evaluated for the
analysis of water ice and ice dust mixtures under Mars atmospheric
conditions. Characteristics of the method including element detection
limits and the ability to determine ice/dusts ratios are being studied.
