Ground-based and satellite data were used to study the temporal and
spectral characteristics of solar cosmic rays from the flare of November
22, 1977. The absolute spectrum of solar cosmic rays at the boundary of
the earth's atmosphere was determined for the rigidity range 2.29-4.0
GV.
