A rigorous optical model of the effect of the deformation function of a flat surface on the deformation function of the wavefront in testing schemes when the principal ray is incident obliquely is considered. To analyze the results it is suggested to use the direct approximation method for interferograms in terms of the effects of the deformation function of a flat surface on the deformation function of the wavefronts in testing schemes and in terms of the free functions of the interferometer. The effect of deviations in the parameters of the test schemes from nominal values on the results of analyzing the deformation function of a flat surface is examined.
