The temperature structure of the plasma in the McMath 14352 active region is analyzed using the photon fluxes measured in six selected wavelength bands involving the resonance, intercombination, and forbidden lines of the Mg XI ion and a number of satellite lines. The measured fluxes are isothermally interpreted, and a multitemperature interpretation of the fluxes is done using an iterative procedure. Upper and lower limits for the plasma density are found, and the fluxes and values of the physical parameters derived in the isothermal and multitemperature approximations are shown. A typical differential emission measure model derived from a spectrum is given.
