Measurements of natural-gas concentration in Comet Halley with the Plasmag-1 instrument on Vega-1 are analyzed. A numerical model is developed which describes this distribution. It is shown that concentration differences at the approach and return segments of the trajectory can be explained by the effect of solar radiation pressure on the cometary neutrals.
