Data from the Yakutsk EAS array on the distribution of the arrival directions of EAS with primary particle energies in excess of 5 x 10 exp 18 eV are presented for the period 1974-1992. Analysis results reveal no statistically meaningful anisotropy in the arrival direction of air showers in the region investigated, although there are indications of a possible increase in particle flow from the equatorial region of the Galaxy at energies of (1-4) x 10 exp 19 eV.
