Preliminary results on the Venusian atmosphere obtained from Venera 11 and 12 probes are presented. These results pertain to such parameters as: (1) changes of pressure and temperature during descent, (2) dependence of pressure on temperature, (3) height profile of atmospheric pressure, (4) vertical profile of atmospheric temperature, and (5) height-dependent variations of upper-layer temperature.
