Solar Corona, Hα, Ca Ii, Solar Eclipse: 1999 August 11

Scientific paper

The regions of cold coronal emission were observed in August, 1999 during the interferometric observations of the solar eclipse, and corresponding profiles of the hydrogen Hα and K Ca II lines were measured. The line-of-sight velocities and plasma temperatures for these regions were determined in the assumption of Maxwell velocities distribution. These parameters reveal inhomogeneity of the cold region structure.
