We propose to obtain long-wavelength, low dispersion spectra of the seven brightest giants in the old disk open cluster M67. The motivation for this project is to determine whether the Mg II flux correlates wen with the evolutionary state of an old red giant, as reflected for the cluster members by the B-V color. Any scatter in the Mg II flux at a given B-V could indicate the presence of activity cycles among even the late K giants, as may be the case for the much younger Hyades KO giants, and the G-type field giants.
