From 31 Jul to 9 Sep, 1989, VLF Omega signals have been received at the following three sites: Xinxiang, Lintong and Urumqi respectively. At the same time, the chromosphere observation and the ionosphere surveying were also doing. A total of 36 activities were recorded simultaneously at three sites. The solar flare of 16 Aug resulted in interrupt of radio telecommunication via ionosphere, which lasted for more than 4 h. The paper analyzes the ionosphere effect of these flare events by synthetically utilizing VLF observation data of the three sites, the chromosphere data, ionosphere survering data and X-ray data of satellite GOES-7.
