The IUE spectra of 24 Be stars showing Fe II emission lines in the optical range were studied. In this subclass of Be stars, represented by earlier objects, the outflow phenomenon seems to be enhanced with respect to the Be main class. The outflow velocities are not related to the spectral type or to the luminosity class. There seems to be a definite trend associating small outflow velocities with low v sin i values and vice versa. No Fe II emissions are detected in any of the objects; Mg II (in 4 objects) and C IV (P Cyg in HD 10516) are the sole emissions in the sample.
