The H I Nearby Galaxy Survey (THINGS), is a 21-cm H I line survey of a sample of 34 nearby (2-15 Mpc) galaxies. The observations were carried out with the VLA and have a velocity resolution of 5 km s-1 or better and an angular resolution of 6 arcsec which at this %distance range corresponds to a linear resolution of 60-440 pc.
