The results of the HCN line J = 1-0 survey of more than 100 molecular clouds associated with Sharpless H II regions are reported. HCN radiation is found in nearly the half of these objects. The J = 1-0 H13CN line is detected in some clouds. The HCN column density in these clouds is ≡1014 - 1015cm-2.
